Learning to Embrace  God's Presence

- Hebrews 10:22 NIV -
"let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings . . . "

Does our church experience include a consistent encounter with the transformative presence of God?

 - Exodus 34:29 NLT -
"Moses came down Mount Sinai carrying the two stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant, he wasn’t aware that his face had become radiant because he had spoken to the Lord."
 - 1 Corinthians 14:26 NIV -

- Ephesians 4:16 NLT -
He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.

What role has God asked you to fill in His church?
How often do we give God enough time and space to speak?

- 1 Kings 19:11-13 NLT -
"'Go out and stand before me on the mountain,' the Lord told him. And as Elijah stood there, the Lord passed by, and a mighty windstorm hit the mountain. It was such a terrible blast that the rocks were torn loose, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. And after the earthquake there was a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire there was the sound of a gentle whisper. When Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his cloak and went out and stood at the entrance of the cave.
And a voice said, 'What are you doing here, Elijah?'"
